Board of Directors Announcement

2025 Chicago Region June Sprints® Format

The Chicago Region, SCCA Board of Directors and Competition Committee are pleased to announce that
the 2025 Chicago Region June Sprints®, a Hoosier Super Tour event, will include the F6/FF/FV small
formula classes. This year will mark the 70th consecutive running of the June Sprints and the Region
wanted all classes to join us in celebrating this milestone event.

In order to include the small formula group, the Region is required to alter the June Sprints format to a
Single Race event. On-track time will include one practice session, two qualifying sessions and a 13-lap
feature race. All sessions are planned to provide the same seat time as previous June Sprints and all
races will have a maximum time limit to help keep the event on schedule. In addition, the single feature
race will be counted as two races and drivers will receive points towards Runoffs qualification based on
two finishes.

The small formula classes, along with all the other classes, have been part of what’s made the June
Sprints a premier motorsports event for decades. The Chicago Region is working to continue that
tradition and, as always, offer the safest and best possible experience for all involved.
We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s 70th running of the Chicago Region June Sprints®
where, by including all classes, It’s Not Just Another Race®.
