BrakeOMeter® is an advanced numerical braking control system ideal for racing. BrakeOMeter® is Co-owned by Bruce Nesbitt, a long-time Trans-Am racer and SCCA member, Glen Johnson, a long-time racer and Chicago Region SCCA member, and Aaron “Butch” Deer, long-time racer, 58-year Milwaukee Region SCCA member, and CenDiv Hall of Fame member.
The intent of the SCCA CENDIV Championship Series, and our sponsors TRO Manufacturing and BrakeOMeter® is to support and build our Divisional racing program. Through the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to provide a vibrant and competitive divisional racing series. Over a dozen double division races and SCCA Majors races are held at the Midwest’s most iconic tracks including Brainerd International, Road America, Blackhawk Farms Raceway, the Milwaukee Mile, and the Autobahn Joliet. Divisional winners and runners-up receive a handsome wall plaque to acknowledge their accomplishments. The series also features special series decals for the car, race event class winner labels and giveaways to volunteers.
Both BrakeOMeter® and TRO Manufacturing have a long and deep tradition in the club. Bruce Nesbitt, of BrakeOMeter®, competes in our GT2 events and professionally in the Trans-Am series. Bruce recently received an award for his 100th start in the Trans-Am Series. Scott Sanda, of TRO Manufacturing races a GT2 and Spec Racer Ford.
