CenDiv 2020 Driver’s School / Double Divisional – Now Cancelled
CenDiv Driver’s School Cancellation
We regret to inform you that after much discussion, CenDiv is unable to find a date to host a Drivers School event this season.
If you were planning to attend our April Drivers School to work toward a competition license, we wanted to provide you with some alternatives to help you satisfy your SCCA Novice Permit requirements.
These alternatives are subject to change based on the dynamic COVID-19 situation. Please check the websites provided for the most current event status.
Brainerd International Raceway (Brainerd, MN) is hosting a three-day SCCA-accredited Competition Racing License School on May 20-22. Successful completion of this private school will result in an SCCA Full Competition license. Information for this school may be found at:
https://www.birperformance.com/scca-competition-school/
Land O’ Lakes Region is hosting a Double Divisional on May 23-24 at the same race track. Information and registration may be found at:
msreg.com/HW2020
Midwestern Council is hosting Wheel to Wheel Drivers Schools on July 3-4 (now both Open and Closed wheel) at Blackhawk Farms Raceway (Rockton, IL). Information related to these events may be found at:
http://www.mcscc.org/schedule/
CenDiv will honor the successful completion of the Midwestern Council Wheel to Wheel Drivers School as completion of the SCCA school requirements for novice permit holders in lieu of an SCCA driver’s school.
04/27/2020: Due to the Stay at Home orders that have been extended for Illinois and Wisconsin, Midwestern Council’s May 22-23 Driver School #1 at Blackhawk Farms has been cancelled. Midwestern Council also modified their Driver’s school on July 3rd- July 4th to be a full school with both Open and Closed wheel.
