Chicago Region Spring Tour

Come join the Chicago Region for this year’s G.O.A.T.S. (Get Out And Tour Series) Spring Tour – a scenic drive on Illinois backroads along the Rock River valley, with planned stops at historic spots.
You will have an opportunity to
- take a free tour of a historic site that features a blacksmith shop
- stop along the bluffs above the Rock River to take a selfie with a 50-foot-tall statue
- step back in time to listen to an old-time jukebox and slake your thirst with a root beer float
- shop at a mall featuring antiques, collectibles and model trains.
When the day is done, we’ll gather at a brewpub and talk about who did or did not get lost and other interesting aspects of our journey.
