2023 CenDiv Champ Series

CENDIV to Host 12 Championship Race Weekends in the 2023 Series

January 1, 2023

In our 24th year of the CenDiv Championship Racing Series, we are proud to announce the addition of BrakeOMeter® as a sponsor of our divisional road racing series. You’ll note our new series logo shown at the top of this page.

Continuing a rich history of club racing for over 50 years, CenDiv is proud to announce the 2023 CENDIV Divisional Championship Series, that will race at some of the world’s most famous and spectacular tracks including Road America, Blackhawk Farms, Brainerd International, Milwaukee Mile and Autobahn Country Club.

With the 2023 season beginning last October with Chicago Region’s Fall Sprints at Blackhawk Farms, and continuing this April at Blackhawk Farms Raceway with our CENDIV Drivers School and Double Divisional and ending in September at Autobahn Joliet Country Club, CENDIV is hosting a total of twelve race weekends during the season. There are 21 points opportunity races spread across those weekends counting toward the series points. Nine Double Divisional Championship Series weekends, two Northern Conference US Majors Tour event weekends and a Super Tour, comprise the CenDiv Divisional Championship Series for 2023. The series welcomes over 40 national and regional classed cars and an additional 13 CENDIV regionally classed cars. Participants in the series will experience the now familiar series graphics for their race cars, Class Winner decals for each event, and End-of-Year class trophies.

All races beginning this past October and prior to September 11th, 2023, including the eight remaining scheduled double divisional races, the two Majors races and the Super Tour, determine 2023 SCCA Runoffs eligibility. Races after September 12th, including Chicago Region’s Double Regionals at Blackhawk Farms will count toward the 2024 CENDIV Championship Series and 2024 Runoff eligibility.

As an outcome of our recent drivers survey the series is eliminating the Double Points for finishing positions at the Drivers School Double Divisional Race at Blackhawk Farms in April.  This event will now be eligible for Bonus Points.

Again for 2023 season, 25 Bonus points will continue to be awarded for the 1st race attended by a driver at any of the five CENDIV tracks.

Over the past several years we have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the fortune of having sponsors to the CENDIV road racing series, and this year is no exception with addition of BrakeOMeter® with TRO Manufacturing.

Be sure to pick up a set of updated series decals at Tech.

The intent of the Championship Series is to support and build the Divisional racing program. To those ends, there are no extra fees in the entrant’s entry for the Divisional Series races, and only a small fee is collected from the Major’s events to fund the 2023 CENDIV Divisional Championship Series.
