Getting a Competition License Just Got Way Easier!
If you’ve been dreading the annual trip to the doctor just to get your medical paperwork signed off, we have some fantastic news. Starting July 1, 2026, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is officially streamlining its medical requirements for Road Racing Novice and Full Competition Licenses.
For many of us, this means completely eliminating the doctor’s visit! This is a huge step forward that brings the SCCA in line with other amateur racing bodies, saving you time and money before you hit the track.
